About the course:
This qualification is suited for those currently working in an administrative role and wish to further develop their skills. It is preferable and highly desirable that students who would like to join this course have experience in a Business environment managing and supervising others. Job roles which are suitable include: Administration Officer/Executive, Administration Team Leader, Office Supervisor, Personal Assistant and Secretary.
Course Structure:
This course comprises of compulsory and optional units. Students are expected to obtain at least 58 credits in order to qualify for this award.

What are the entry requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements needed in order to join this programme, however, if an A*/9 – C/4 grade in English or Maths at GCSE, or a Level 2 Functional Skill has not be obtained by the candidate then an additional qualification in Level 2 Functional Skill English and/or Maths will be undertaken to ensure there is a smooth progression throughout the course.

Through achieving this UK qualification, you will be able to progress onto a higher Management qualification.

The entry requirements for this course is 3 GCSEs at grade A* – D; this includes Maths and English. Students wishing to join the course must currently work in a Business environment or have an employer that is willing to hire you in this area. You must be at least 16 years of age.

Start Date: The Diploma course can be studied at any time during the year, however, this is subject to the number of students.
Course Mode: Part time
Assessment Method:
You will be assessed by your assessor using a portfolio of evidence or e-portfolio, practical demonstrations and assignments. You will be assessed both in the college and in your place of work.
Progression route?
Through achieving this qualification you will be able to progress onto the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Business or may you apply for the following job roles:
