About the course:
Functional Skills English level 2 is design for anyone who wants to progress their Basic English skills for work, further study or personal development as well as gaining a nationally recognised qualification in English. The course will be taught in small and friendly group where you will be working as an individual and as part of a group. You are expected to sit an exam when you are ready.

This course comprises of three elements:
- English Reading
- English Writing
- English Speaking, Listening and Communication (SLC)

- Presentation
What are the entry requirements?
No entry requirement but it is advisable for learner to have functional skills level 1 or equivalent.
Assessment Method:
Observation of the discussion and presentation for the Speaking & Listening unit, and exams for the Reading and Writing units

Course Mode: Day / Evening
Duration: 12 weeks
Start Date: The functional Skills course can be studied at any time during the year, however, this is subject to the number of students.
Progression route?
Through achieving this qualification you will be able to progress onto a Higher Management qualification.
