Apprenticeships are for all age groups and are available for new staff as well as existing employees, offering training and development opportunities to existing staff can significantly boost morale and make them feel more valued. The College has many different frameworks available.
There are three levels of Apprenticeship to reflect the needs of today’s business.
How an Apprenticeship works?
Apprentices generally do most of their learning on the job, with some off the job training at the College. They will work for you a minimum of 30 hours a week with some days release at College. The new apprentice is your employee and therefore comes under your HR policies and procedures. The apprenticeship is made up of an NVQ, Technical Certificate, functional skills and vocational training. You choose the pathway that suits your business needs, with support from the College.
